Alistair Marshall represents a well established importer who distributes quality wine throughout the UK. He has the power to make or break Monty’s ambition to be a successful wine maker. If Alistair gives the wine a thumbs down, it’s the end of the road.
Monty’s nervous. "It’s the first time the wine will have been tasted ready, if you like," he says. "Obviously I hope he’s going to buy it. What I don’t want him to do is to try and beat me down on price, because I can’t afford to do that. I’m as low as I can possibly go."
