  2. Hi, We are a Fostering family in North London. We have a terraced three bedroom house and with two children of our own (3 and 8) we often find ourselves falling over each other! There is currently one bathroom and the loft was converted many years before we moved in. What I am asking is the possibility of a professional viewing our home and giving us some guidance. We are currenly chasing our tails, my husband works full time and we have three children at the moment under the age of 3! Where is the best place to spend our money, or change the layout in order to gain some valuable space. We are unable to request to be shown on TV given the nature of our work - can you recommend anyone to come round. I have had a few builders round but to be honest they just want to rip the old loft and staircase out and do a new one. I understand why but we are not in the financial position to do that. Thank you

  4. Help, I have bitten off more than I can chew.... I started renovating a bungalow which is nearing the end, however having run out of steam and ideas, I am left with a hallway which is unfinished, I dont know what to do with the floor which is half concrete and half joists. On the outside I have a half finished bit of rendering as my renderer sadly past away. I feel so close and yet so far from finishing, any assistance would be great. Many thanks

  5. I wasn’t happy about moving to this house so much work needs to be completed, its been 7years and I still can’t call it my home. You go to your friends and family home, and just dream. You watch the makeover shows and pray it will be my turn one day. Where do I start, artex everywhere, cracks and holes in the ceiling downstairs, plasters falling off in the kitchen, doggy electrics, 1960/1970 decoration in the bedrooms with polystyrene tiles. Leaking gutter the lists goes on and on, I just can’t. The kids are sharing a bedroom which they don’t need too as we do have a spare room which also need decorating and a box room%u2026It’s the house on the street which shout out I need love care and attention, as my neighbour pointed out, as we must be letting down the street When friends arrange to come around I just make sure that I am ready to go out the door nobody has ever come in. My children feel that they cannot bring their friends home as the house is just to embarrassing and the older one cannot wait to go away to a 6th form boarding college if we could afford it, just to get away from the house. ( I think I will join her)

  7. hello we moved into our home 10 years ago when we first started our family! 10 years and 5 children later and still we have one problem after another. we too have a whole shower room we cant use due to bad plumbing and it too flooded the house(one of the few problems we managed to get fixed when the ceiling fell in!!) we have a stud wall which i think is only being held in place by the wallpaper covering it windows which are drafty and rotting and we came home from holiday this summer to find a horrendous problem with penetrating damp we hadn't realised was so bad before! our hopes and resources are completely draind we saw the advert for your show and as a last resort hope you can help!

  8. Hello Sarah we moved into our dream home 2 years ago and have been struggling ever since with one problem after another - leaking ceiling, a shower we can't use because it floods the house, we opened the bedroom window and it fell out on to the roof below !! The lounge & bedroom floors are like a trampoline, we've got damp even though they had dry lined the whole house so we dread to think whats going on behind there. And that's just scratching the surface, but we love it here and don't want to give up.So when we saw the advert for your new t.v show we thought we might be good candidates :) PLEASE HELP !!

  10. Hi. We are having terrible problems with a Spanish bank. We are totally paid up to date and they want to auction our house as they said we are not. We have had no joy from our solicitors and don't know where to turn. Could anyone help please? We live in Costa Blanca Spain and this has nothing to do with land-grab. Many thanks

  13. I have never developed property before but in the future hope to develop a new build property to the side of my property. There is space for a single house or two small semis. Would Sarah Beeny be interested in doing a TV programme about people wanting to develop in their garden during the property downturn and to give advice?
