1. HELP!! My husband and I and our girls aged 7 and 6 are thinking of emigrating to Australia the problem being having never been before we don't know where to start. My husband is a Joiner and I'm a part qualified accountant, we have been looking at Brisbane. Any help would be appreciated. Thankyou

Hi myself and my family(husband and 3 kids)are hoping to move to Australian in june 2010 from Bray in Ireland.Hoping my husband will found work before we get there but this so big for us in so many ways.(1) i have to leave my family and friends.(2) What happens if we get home sick.(3)what happens if we dont find the right schools for the kids.(4)what happens if we dont find the right house.(5)what happens if my husband cant find the right job.(6)what happens if we get there and nobody likes it.We are hoping not to sell are home here so if it dont work out we can come home.So any help at all would be great to make this move along that little bit better for us all may thanks from us all Ann.

3. Hello, My Husband is a gas fitter by trade with tickets in Solar and other plumbing qualifications. I am an administrator and we have 2 kids aged 6 and 3. We have visited the Australian Embassy website and passed the basic test. We will have the Migration expert ringing shortly. We were wandering if there was any way we could get on the programme in order to go there and have a look around and use any contacts you may have? Kind Regards.

4. Hi Guys,my wife & I are considering relocating to Australia. I lived there for a year before. I am a joiner by trade and my wife is a finance assisitant. We have two children aged 4 & 1. As we have no idea of how to go about it, we would be eternally grateful for any help you could offer.

5. Dear All My wife and I, both 36 yrs old and in good health, have intiated our permanent return to Australia in June 2010. My wife is a Registered Nurse and I am an Educational Psychologist so there isnt/shouldnt be an issue re jobs. There are already a few things in the pipeline. We have lived there previously in 1997(backpacking) and again for the period 2003-2006 on a long term sponsorship visa. We now regard Australia, particularly Sydney as 'home'. We returned to the UK in 2006 temporarily to have our first child (of which there is now 2 of them!). Since returning to Australia this time would be very different, now having the responsibility of being parents, we are 'stuck' as to what our best options would be. Before, we lived the life of Riley, not having to think about anything other than beach life, sun factor and wine. Now we have schools, family homes etc to consider and have no idea where to start. :( Do you think any of your experts/programmes would be able to help? PLEASE? :) I look forward to hearing from you. 6. HELP ME PLEASE!! I am trying to get my parents out to Perth my brother lives out there and has done for 5 years now, they want to emigrate out there. Me and my sister will haopfully be out there in a year or 2 but we want to try and get our parents out there now!! PLEASE HELP

HI, please please make our dream come true, i have been to perth when i was 21-23 and loved it so much i was going to go straight back unfortunately my mam took ill and fate meant it was not the right time. I now have a husband and two teenages who would love to live there and i feel now would be the best time to do it. I live in hope one day it will happen and my dream will come true.

8. I want to move to Australia preferably end of 2009. I am a sports coach specialising in Tennis and swimming. I know this is not on the main skills list so i will have to enquire re sponsorship opportunities. So i am thinking the best option is to have a 6 month travel visa to Perth and see if i can aquire some sort of sponsorship. Can you give me some advice on if i were to find employment sponsorship in the 6 months i am out there how long before i could get my permanent visa. Also any tips on long term rental in Perth for the months i am out there.

9. we are looking at moving to australia in july 2010. we have never been to australia, there are 5/6 of us, 3 of us will be needing a univirsity placement. one will be a primery school placement and the remaining one will be requering an employment placement as an assosiate social worker. we would like to move to the goldcoast/sunshime coast. we will be needing rented accomadation to start with, untill we get to know the area. we would appreciate any help you can offer us.

10. Hi there we have already got our skills visa and have just done an extension to our property in the UK just got the garden to finish off then will be putting it on the market to sell. Once sold then we can relocate to the Gold Coast in Queensland Australia. Think with the housing market we gonna struggle, can one of your programmes help us relocate? 11. Hi, my name is Gabriella Williams. Myself, my husband and our 2 children are hoping to move to Perth one day. We are just recently married at 24 and 22 and want to start a new life out there.I am a hairdresser and a beautician and my husband, Scott, is training as a plumber. Hi Amanda,my son Phillip went to Australia about fifteen months ago he travelled aus and New Zealand before settling in Perth.He managed to find employment and after his probation period he was given a full time job and sponorship for his visa.Unfortunatly for him and seven others he has been made redundant.Al is not rosey down there either!He has only till the middle of May to find another sponsor then he will have to leave Australia.We all cried when he left but he has made such a go of it i worry about how he will readjust to living back in the UK.Can you and your program help in any way? 19. Hi there! My partner and I have both spent months travelling around Australia and totally believe it will give us a better way of life and we are currently saving up to emigrate there. I am a 25 year old teacher and my partner is a 32 year old electrical engineer with 6 years of Navy experience. We are especially keen on Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide and Sydney and would love to take part in a new series of A Place Down under to experience the working and living lifestyle in Australia rather than the travelling aspect of it. 22. My husband and I are both 51 yrs old and have a son,a daughter and four grandchildren. We all have jobs, most of which are on the list of wanted skills and all are serious about moving to Australia but need help to plan, coordinate and facilitate everything which, obviousley, is going to be a huge task. 28. sorry to all those who think that moving to Australia would end their money worries and be the perfect lifestyle for them - I recently returned back from living and working in Perth for 18 months. My husband and I had very well paid jobs (I am a 36 yr old professional) but would have struggled to buy a house in Perth as the recent Boom in the energy sector in Western Australia meant that prices were on a par with Brighton, UK (where I live now. A bidding war even broke out on our rented house when we left! Food was also expensive to buy and they quality not that great as they export all the good fruit and veg overseas! Saying that, the climate and beaches are beautiful in that area and we had a thoroughly enjoyable time - we just missed our family back home.

30. People people people, if you would have listened while the programe was on, you would have heard that he man lived there for 4 years in the 60; nd so has a dual nationality. As he has an Australian passport, they don't need to go through the noral procdures.

34. Hello My name is fiona, I am 25 and married with 2 kids (2 half year old and a 1 year old) My husband works as a fitter/welder and I have given up my full time job to bring up our children. Also the cost of childcare, at ?1,000 per month it is too expensive and worth paying for. Due to the current state of affairs in N.I. we have had to move out of our home and have moved in with my parent as we can not afford the cost of living (mortgage, rates, bills, kids etc..) We are renting our house out to help us pay the mortgage. My husband has been wanting to move to australia for a few years now and I would love to go to but I am scared to make such a big step. However I want a better life for our family and we want to be able to live in our own house again and be able to afford the cost of living and give our kids everything they need and want. Please consider us for your programme as we would love to move to australia. Thank you

35. Hi, My boyfriend and I are desperate to move to Australia. My boyfriend drives excavators/track machines and has heard that there is a lot of demand for this within the mining industry (particulary in and around Perth). My boyfriend is now 30 years old and neither of us meet the points needed to emigrate to Australia so he would ideally need sponsoring, unless there was another way. Can you help?

42. Please explain how this middle aged couple are able to obtain the necessary visa allowing them to emigrate to Australia. To my knowledge you cannot just decide to move and live in Australia without meeting stringent qualifications. Looking forward to hearing from you becuase we would like to retire to Australia.
