  1. I have watched many of a place in the sun. Has a programme ever featured Egypt? Also when the people are on the show, do they have to prove that funds are available to purchase a property abroad and do they pay their own way or do the programme makers pick up the bill? Finally, how long is the average time abroad for each show as the amount of people who decline to buy any of the properties seem to just get a holiday out of it? I cant wait to see your reply as it has intrigued me for some time. Thanks. Jax

  2. We are thinking about moving to the UK (certainly not because of the weather....) but because our children are living there and we are missing out on seeing our grandchildren growing up. We live in a pretty coastal city (more like a big town really)- that has all the facilities and conveniences that anyone would need. We have a 3 bedroom townhouse (terrace house) overlooking the ocean - it is a lovely home in a great spot. We would love to sell it lock stock and barrel (complete household and cars inlcuded - Mercedes 180 Compressor and Ford Bantam) to someone who is interested in a lovely place in the sun!!! We live in East London, South Africa. Google and take a look at pictures of East London and, if there is any interest, I can provide pics of the home and all it has to offer. Thanks Sue

  3. We are thinking about moving to live in the sun (totally fed up of the british weather) but the question is where too? we have an 8yr old son so english speaking schools would be an important factor. I like the sound of small island life but with somewhere with an english presence so it feels abit like home but with the sun. we love the carribean so a destination as beautiful would be ideal as we love diving and island life. I have the British virgin islands in mind but would love to find out abit more about them please advise. Thanks Dawn

  6. We are considering moving to Australia, we have been to the immigration fair in Manchester and would love to be included in one of your shows. We have three children under 9 and are currently self employed so the work available is critical to where we go. We have some friends who are off to live there in November and have chosen Melbourne, so we are going to start around there. Have you any advice or would you be interested in screening us. Thanks
