I,too,like Cindy Woodall 1/1/09, am considering long term rental but in Portugal and will appreciate as much advice as you can give me/us on 2 bed apartments and upwards please.
Me and my partner are owners of a two bedroom apartment in guluk turkey along with around forty other owners at marina vista . We are all experiencing a horrible nitemare regarding our properties being placed in turkish peoples name and other issues . After reading a interview in a place in the sun you did with claire sweeney in jan 08 i thought you might be interested in this .

I am a regular subscriber to the Place in the Sun magazine. I do not own a property and therefore my future (and present) is long-term rental. I would very much like to see a feature or information with regard to long-term rental in Spain. I have not been able to find much information on this anywhere. I would think that there would be other readers who are not in a position to buy in Spain but would like to take up residence eventually (work, retire, etc.). The only information in your magazine and other sites relates to holiday rentals which does not fit the long-term criteria. Thank you.
