With reference to the e mail by Mr Pagett on 03/07/2009 we too thought the max stay in US was 6 mths at a time.We want to purchase property in Florida and come and go as we please as we will have retired.We will be self sufficient and will not seek work.Can anybody give further advise.Many thanks Laura

Hi, we have just watched your programme (Friday 3/07/09) a family buying a home in Poole and Florida (sarasota) they are bsaying that they are going to live there? Can you explain how they can do that I was under the impression you need a visa/ or E25(buy a business visa) to live in the US, the reason I ask we have a property in Naples have 10 year Visa but we areonly allowed to stay 6 months at a time, so would love your advice, thanks Mr & Mrs E J Pagett
