How To Remove Scorch Marks

Know what to do if you've left the hair straighteners in the wrong place again...

From carpets: Trim lightly scorched tufts with scissors - heavier marks may need to be brushed out with a stiff brush.

From fabric: Washing may fade or remove the mark - use an in-wash stain remover.
