How To Remove Mildew

Mildew

At home in damp, dark, warm places, unchecked mildew can destroy home furnishings.

From fabrics: Normal washing should remove mildew and stains - where appropriate add some laundry bleach, or try a proprietary stain remover.

From upholstery: Take the item outside where possible and knock surface mildew off with a stiff brush. Air the item in the sun. If spots remain, dab with mild disinfectant and rinse.

Always check manufacturer's instructions first. Always try a test patch first. If you are unsure as to whether the item you are cleaning is suitable for our instructions, take professional cleaning advice first.
