How To Clean Carpets

carpet

Not so cosy for your toes when it's clogged up with jam and biscuit crumbs is it?

Every week: Vacuum, vacuum, vacuum.

Carpet. How To Clean Carpets.

Carpet spills:If the spill has just happened, scrape or blot it away immediately, then dab with a white cloth or white paper from the edge of the stain towards the centre. Do not rub! If the spill leaves a mark, dab first with clean water, and if that isn't enough try a mild solution of laundry fluid.

Look at the Stains section for targeted cleaners for different types of stain.

Clean a grubby carpet with a steam cleaner or carpet shampooer, which you can hire or, better still call in someone in to do it for you.

Always check manufacturer's instructions first. Always try a test patch first. If you are unsure as to whether the item you are cleaning is suitable for our instructions, take professional cleaning advice first.
