Why is it that English Heritage are quite prepared to let listed buildings crumble and decay untill there is nothing left but a heap of rubble, but, if someone buys the building with a view to renovating it they step in and make all sorts of demands about the build? If they're so concerned about preserving our heritage why dont they do something before the buildings get in such a state.
