Here, we look at Cloud Nine's Bude show home, which costs from around £90,000, delivered and commissioned. Timber built using renewable sources, these modern eco homes have a complete user-friendly, fresh-air eco heating system; solar micro power generation capability with zero carbon options; deep insulation, which gives a very low cost of operation, and secure design as an integral feature. The designs are guided by the Code for Sustainable Homes; Code level 4 as standard and upgradable to level 5.
