1. You need to think very carefully when equipping your conservatory with blinds. Certain types of blind will suit certain types of conservatory. Also important is considering where you conservatory is facing. For example, if it is south facing and unshaded then you will need a blind that cuts out more of the sun's heat and light. If your conservatory faces North then you should go for a blind that lets in more light such as a pinoleum. Choosing a blind with a reflective coating will help to minimse the effects of heat during those warmer months and is also effective at keeping the heat in during the colder months. We all want blinds that we like the look of and go nicely with our decor, but choosing blinds just on this basis could mean you'r left with an unusable conservatory at certain times of the day. You can now also get blinds which are classed as cassette blinds. These require no screwing or permanent fixing and therefore minimise the damage to your conservtory.
