4. I watch the show which has given my husband and i some ideas. I don`t like the layout of the downstairs of my house. which means we don`t utilise the space. kitchens are traditionally under bathrooms, however, are there any reasons, snaggs or things to take into account in putting a kitchen in the centre of the house where there is plenty of light and ventilation which would have a bedroom above it.

5. I have a friend who has just bought a 14th century thatched cottage with 2 barns on 5 acres of land in Suffolk in need of serious renovation would this be of any interest to your programme await your reply regards Tina

6. I have a new extention wich leads on to an existing garage. do I need to put a step into the garage before fitting a fire door.?

7. hello my house is newly bulit i dont like the down stairs lay out .i got down stairs wc which is useless big.and we donot use garage which is waste of space as well we want to sell n move to bigger house our house is being on market for over year but offers r not good do u think opening dinning n kitchen and converting garage in to extera room will increase value in property .how much it will cost us .

8. You should know the difference between 'compliment' and 'complement' ( Homes show 26 th or 27 th July) Looks bad when a fairly good show does not know the difference!!!

9. The show is entertaining but can George remember to mention planning rules for alterations. Can he mention the cost of packing up storing and returning household goods and furniture and also the cost of painting every thing white. He also fails to mention the costs of all the new furnishings and fittings.

10. Hello, First comment love the show much better than grand deish and property ladder gives you a lot more ideas and better value for money. We have just started doing a self build my question really comes for the exterior of the house the entertainment area(ie)bbq and hot tub area. i have put bi fold doors to the ouside area from the kitchen area leading onto a decking/paved area but what the heck do I do with it ? If we have any money left over we would like to invest in a hot tub. Also do you think having a conex system (ie) home autimation system is worth the money my husband is well into gadget things.

11. Hello, We live in a loft conversion large one bedroom flat, however the conversion has been done really poorly. First of all we are looking at having the downstairs loo/shower room redone, however after asking 3 builders for a quote about a month ago we haven't received any replies. They came to see the work and promised to get back to us... Is that normal procedures? How long should we wait for? Thanks a lot!

12. i started watching your show after my grand daughter told me about it. If only you had been around a few years ago when my husband was alive, we could have fulfilled our dreams of building a bungalow; the design would have been from my grand mothers bungalow in india where my husband and i first met. If i was able to do it myself i would jump at it, but alas age has caught up with me.

14. hello I have watched your show for the first time and i loved what you had done with it,but i need some help ,i want to be a interea designer when i am older but i don't know what opptions i have to take and as you are an designer your self i thought who better to ask than you if you could help me with this dessision i will be very gratfull. 15. I wondered if you could offer advice? I dont know which to renew, the bathroom which is showing signs of dilapidation i.e.loose floor tile grout & cracked flr tiles, or renew the kitchen which shows no obvious signs of dilapidation but is a bit tired, it's also really tiny. Am in process of selling this 1 bed grd flr flat in devon & dont know which to do for the best on terms of selling? Any ideas? Great website by the way.
