Step Two:

Pull the tungsten-tipped blade of the remover tool across the joint lines, working methodically over a small area at a time. Don’t press too hard on the grout removal tool or you may slip and scratch the tiles.

Step Three:

Clean out the joint lines with an old paintbrush and a clean sponge. It’s a good idea to use a diluted bleach solution to clean the grout lines if there are any traces of mould.

Step Four:

Re-grout the tiles and polish off any dusty residue with a clean cloth. Choose the correct grout for the tile and the situation. A tiling shop should be able to offer advice. It’s especially important to use a flexible grout on a wall lined with plywood or other flexible panels. Some grouts are also designed for showers or wet rooms.
