1. Dust Mite
The mites will prosper in warm, dark and damp conditions. Changes to the way we live over the past few decades have provided ideal breeding conditions.
These nocturnal blood-suckers (Cimex Lectulariusti to give them their posh name) are a common problem and can be unwittingly transmitted to even the cleanest bedroom.

Not as well known as Salmonella or E.Coli, Campylobacter Jejuni is actually the bacterial critter that causes more than three quarters of all cases of food poisoning in the UK.

The bacterium is linked to a number of dangerous infections including meningitis, peritonitis, septicemia and pneumonia, as well as being responsible for the odour of faeces!

As well as making your home look like a biology experiment gone horribly wrong, mould growth can cause health problems, most seriously through the inhalation of mould spores that can cause serious complications to people with weak immune systems.
