Sarah says: ‘I believe family-run shops offer a better service and aren’t usually more expensive. I get my fabric from a wonderful family-run shop in Battersea called The Paint House. It offers an enormous range of materials. I’ve just bought some fabric for my son’s bedroom curtains from there.’
