Think twice about buying that power tool, or any other gadget. Not because it will use more than its share of electricity - in fact the average drill is used for only 15 minutes in its entire lifetime. That's the point: manufacturing such equipment uses energy and resources, so consider borrowing or hiring what you need, if and when you need it.
