To create this display:
Take a terracotta pot (this one is 20cm tall) and, if it is not waterproof it, line it. Place foam in the container so that it rises above the rim. Create the outline of the display first with foliage (such as dogwood and astilbe), using all parts of the exposed foam. Reinforce the foliage shape with linear flowers, such as Frittilaria and stocks. Add your round flowers - here, Judith has used roses and open lilies. These are the most dominant shaped flowers and will hold your design together. Fill in with remaining stems.
