If you've been quite disciplined with your minimalist decorative scheme so far, you've got room to be a little bit more playful and this chair would suit a minimalist theme very well. It's got all the very simple lines that minimalism requires but what's fabulous about it is that it's delicious texture.
This chair is green in all senses of the word - the grey felt around the base is made from 100 per cent recycled plastic and the green wool is produced in a way that's kind to the environment.
When furnishing a minimal home you can either be completely purist or you can go for something like this, which is undoubtedly minimal given the very limited number of components - the steel legs, a very simple clean seat and the back - but of course it's the back which shows that this isn't purely minimalist. It's a little bit subverted with this retro print.

If you're a minimalist with an extrovert personality screaming to get out then what about this eye popping green sideboard? It would suit a minimalist interior really well for four reasons. One, its got those very sharp lines, typical of minimalism, Two, it's got a cheeky mirrored panel either side. Three, it's got very simple legs which are nothing more than sheets of steel.

And four, when you look at the doors this thing hasn't even got handles. The only thing is, it's bright green.
If you love colour the general rule is as long as you keep your minimalist interior to low key neutrals, it will still look entirely at home. Remember there are no no-no's in design so be brave.
