Seamless Chairs; £674 each (made to order)
Anarchitect
'These chairs are not only antiques of the future, but they suggest a fresh, new way of looking at antiques. Reincarnating aged objects with the Seamless technique (original furniture is sprayed with polyurethane elastomer - or rubberised, in other words) is incredibly original. The process provides outdoor elegance, comfort and wit, while subverting the sometimes sentimental feelings we have about objects from the past. Paradoxically, it is this cultural commentary, as much as the material and technique, that makes these items, at least for me, antiques of the future.'
