3. Don't Let The Room Be Top Heavy (Image 3 of 6)
In an L-shaped kitchen, it's important to make use of wall space with the extra cupboards that you could do without in an open-plan room. However, this will make your room feel quite top heavy. The solution? Fit some wall cupboards that have glass cabinet fronts and are preferably back-lit. Don't even think about a hanging saucepan unit, and keep floors clear of clutter.
