'This year’s leading trend is a move towards distinctive looks using creative materials,' explains Jeanette Ward, Communications Manager for Franke. 'Our Mythos black ceramic sink offers an ultra-contemporary and design-led look and with a smooth high-gloss finish, it’s a robust alternative to stainless steel.'
According to Amanda Cawood, Product and Marketing Manager for Caple, there has been consistent popularity for the ceramic sit-in sink. 'These solid fireclay ceramic sinks are well suited in the traditional country kitchen, but can create a focal point in any setting; making them highly sought-after.' Caple has recently put a contemporary spin on this age-old classic with a stainless steel Belfast design (above) while RAK Ceramics has introduced a bow-fronted version. Blanco meanwhile has extended its range to include super-sized sinks to accommodate your every need.
