Matthew says: 'Chillies are so brilliant, so beautiful to look at, extraordinarily colourful. They're a vegetable that can be grown as an ornamental plant. They don’t mind if they dry out, so they can be grown easily in a container. Everyone loves them, they're so easy to grow - and they taste much nicer than dried chilli flakes. There are lots of varieties in terms of colour - red, yellow, orange and green.'
