Prefers: Partial or dappled shade; moist but well-drained clay or loam; east, west or north-facing; sheltered spot.
Aconitum x cammarum 'Bicolor' is an herbaceous perennial to 1.2m, with deeply divided, glossy dark green leaves and widely-branched spikes of hooded, violet-blue and white flowers. Generally pest-free.
