Height x Spread: 2.5m x 2.5m
Prefers: Full sun; moist but well-drained soil of any type; west or south-facing; sheltered spot.
Hibiscus syriacus 'Oiseau Bleu' is a medium-sized, upright deciduous shrub with lobed, dark green leaves. The flowers, which appear in late summer and autumn, are a striking violet-blue with a maroon centre, up to 8cm in width.
