2. Water Your Pots Regularly
2. Water Your Pots Regularly (Image 2 of 11)
At this time of year, pots need watering once a day, assuming it's not been raining. Bear in mind that any pots that sit in the sun will dry out quickly, so consider moving them to dappled shade or adding a layer of mulch to help them retain moisture. If your pots are drying out too quickly or you're planning to go away on holiday, group your pots together in a cooler spot - that way, they'll need watering less often. You can also try placing house plants on a damp towel in the bath to keep them moist and cool.
