Perfect to place on a sunny windowsill, these plants guzzle flies and other insects that fly onto their traps. Sticky hairs act as receptors when an insect lands on the fleshy pads, then the trap closes so the plant can absorb the nutrients of the insect. They’re great as the weather warms up and flies become trapped behind closed windows.
To keep the traps snapping, keep the pots in a saucer filled with water (rainwater if you can) in as bright a position as possible and spray with a water mister every few days.
