These plants, with their crazy curls, are actually airplants, so will get most of their moisture from the surrounding atmosphere – great for those wanting a plant that’s a bit different, but don’t have the time to worry about looking after it. They’re great additions to bathrooms as their mop of steel-grey curly leaves resemble some kind of underwater animal, and they will give an otherwise barren room a bit of life; the plants will thrive in the steamy atmosphere. If you’re placing them in an air-conditioned or heated room, give them a spray every now and again to keep them humid.
