It’s a miserable day in October and yet we are really excited and curiously nervous. Hedingham Castle garden has been chosen for a new Channel 4 programme. The challenges suddenly seem bewildering. Not only have we got to honour a deadline for the garden project that we thought we might start, let alone complete, in 20 years' time, but we also have to conceptualise, design, plant and let it all grow before JULY.
