Know what to do if you’ve left the hair straighteners in the wrong place again...

From carpets: Trim lightly scorched tufts with scissors – heavier marks may need to be brushed out with a stiff brush.

From fabric: Washing may fade or remove the mark – use an in-wash stain remover.

  1. I burned my mams carpet with an iron. Shes really annoyed with me and she says noting will get that out . But I know that you always have helpful tips so I was wondering is there any way to get an arn burn out of carpet ..?? joanne

  2. I have a white cooker and it has a white lid on top that you can lift up and down but it has a burn mark on it. How can I get the burn mark out. The lid and cooker are like metal with a white plastic coating.
