So pretty, so useful, but if it’s not making you sneeze, it’s all over your clothes.

Wrap some sticky tape round your hand and carefully dab it on the pollen to lift it, or suck it up with the vacuum. Treat the mark with proprietary stain remover.

If you get a pollen stain on your clothes, don’t panic! The pollen is very light and hopefully won’t be part of the fabric just yet. Get some sticky tape and very carefully pull off as much as you can manage. Don’t brush at all.

  1. I had flies in the bedroom last night and they have left a black secretion on all of the white linen.....it looks as though someone has shaken black ink over the pillows and bedspread. This happenend once before and I have never been able to get the marks out..can anyone help with advice on how to remove these marks? Viv aka Desparate of Cornwall

  3. We have a lily pollen stain on our carpet which has been ground in by our five year old. Would like some advice as to how to get rid of it!!
