From fabric: Soak in a solution of washing soda and cold water, then wash as normal using biological detergent. Colour-run removal products work on whites, or soak in a weak bleach solution.

To remove hair dye or paint from a painted surface spray surface with plenty of cheap hairspray and lave then rinse with hot water then repeat until it comes out.

  4. i live in a rented flat with the landlady. imagine my horror when i got chestnut (aka black!) hairdye on my (white) bedroom door.. first door people can see when they enter the flat too.. nail varnish remover plus some hard scrubbing saved the day...

  5. Please can you help me? How do you remove Fake tan from a light coloured carpet? Its the kind of tan that develops over time, I have tried other conventional cleaning products but nothings helps. Is there anything else I can do?? x
