‘I’ll do anything to get out of cleaning the floor’ your motto? Get low-maintenance vinyl.

Every day: Vinyl flooring is not too picky – a bit of sweeping, the odd mop with soapy water and it’s happy.
Stains and scuffs on vinyl are not a big deal - if you’ve been a bit free with the ragu, try rubbing the stain with cream cleaner or a paste of water and bicarbonate of soda. Scuffs can be tackled with a humble eraser, or neat washing up liquid, applied with a cloth – or white spirit, which you’ll then need to rinse off.
If you’re mopping the kitchen floor, use the kitchen bin to hold the soapy water and you’ll end up with a nice clean bin too.
