Don't let grubby grout spoil the look of your gorgeous tiles.
To clean up discoloured grout (caused by soap scum, mildew and other delights), arm yourself with an old toothbrush and a suitable cleaner and scrub over the grout lines.

There are plenty of proprietary cleaners on the market, or be green(ish) and make your own mixture of bicarbonate of soda and a splash of vinegar or bleach. Ideally, you need to find a product with mould inhibitors, as these will discourage mould or mildew from returning.
To clean tile grout line mix 2 cups of bicarbonate soda, 1 cup of borax, and about 1 cup of hot water. This will make a paste. Smear some of the paste in the grout line and scrub with a grout brush. Have some clean hot water in another bucket for rinsing.

After spending hours trying to clean grout and just about giving up, I found the perfect solution. You can coat the grout with a product called One Step Grout Coating Pen, made by Tile Gard. It made the grout look brand new. I then sealed it to keep it that way. I haven't cleaned my grout in a year!

Always check manufacturer's instructions first. Always try a test patch first. If you are unsure as to whether the item you are cleaning is suitable for our instructions, take professional cleaning advice first.
