Know the cleaning tips that will protect your investment in stone.

Seal it: Unsealed stone is porous and will look a right mess in no time, so make sure it is properly sealed and re-seal frequently (check the manufacturer’s recommendations).

Sofa and Stone Floor. How To Clean Stone Flooring

Cleaning sealed stone is simple – give it a once over with the vacuum then mop with a mild detergent, such as washing-up liquid.

Stains on sealed stone can be treated with a proprietary stone cleaning product – again, check the manufacturer’s recommendations.

If you’re mopping the kitchen floor, use the kitchen bin to hold the soapy water and you’ll end up with a nice clean bin too.

Always check manufacturer's instructions first. Always try a test patch first. If you are unsure as to whether the item you are cleaning is suitable for our instructions, take professional cleaning advice first.
