1. my dogs got hold of a bottle of cod liver oil(for dogs) and it leaked on to my sofa, its a brown fabric one, how do i clean it. tried soap and water did not work. please help

2. my towels are only a few months old but smell of damp like they have been left wet and screwed up for weeks i cant seem to get rid of the smell although i now wash them after every use but did only wash them after 2 uses and always hung them flat to dry. please can u tell me how i can get rid of this terrible smell and keep it away, they are good towels and i really dont want to have to throw them away! thank you

3. i have been given a lovely set of curtains which are lined. they are cream in colour and are 60% cotton and 40% polyester. The trouble is they have never been used and have been in the original packing for over 1 year. the packaging seems to have split and there is now a huge brown mark which i can only describe as looks like a watermark right in the centre. can you give me some advise on how to get this mark out. thank you adele

4. i once saw one of your shows when you cleaned a toilet with cotton wool soacked with something. the toilet was extemely dirty and came up sparkling, my toilet isn't that bad but does have limescale on it and a ring that is impossible to srub off believe me i've tryed. could you tell me what could help you no something with a bit of strength

7. I have a 100% silk christening gown with yellow stains on the neck (DRIBBLE!!) I have tried soaking in cool water with both washing powder and washing up liquid but the stains are still there. I think even if I had had the item dry cleaned the stains would not have come out. Any ideas? Thinging of trying bicard of soda? Help

8. I have some orange-coloured stains on the back of a cotton jumper, but am not sure what they are. I have soaked them for 6 hours in "vanish oxi-action," have sprayed "stain slayer" on them and washed the jumper on 90 degrees; but nothing helps. The stains seemed to be embedded in the material. Is there any way I can remove these tenacious stains? ?

11. I have just washed my daughters sheep skin rug and it is definitely looking cleaner but the leather on the back has gone hard. What can I use to make it supple again without damaging the sheep skin itself?

17. I find that if you can catch a stain on clothing right away, the best way to get it out for me is I spray hairspray right on the spot and with a WHITE bar of soap scrub right into the hairspray on the stain. I've even been able to save a white shirt from blood this way!
