4. The Borsen (Image 4 of 20)
The Renaissance brought Dutch architecture to Denmark, resulting in such delights as the ‘Borsen’, or stock exchange, topped with splendid decoration and a green copper roof with a spire of plaited dragons’ tails. It was built in 1590-1640 on the orders of Christian IV. Today it’s home to the city’s chamber of commerce.
