How Do I Decorate My 1950s Home Today?

The answer, as with 1920s and 1930s homes is: carefully. If you over do the memorabilia and authentic pieces it can look rather themed along today’s modern pieces, so unless you’re going to go the whole hog, a restrained, modern style will do the trick. Choose a few classic, eye-catching buys from the period and turn a plain scheme into something special.
