Yummy scrummy ice cream sundae recipe

Kim might think a packet of ice cream mix makes homemade ice cream, but were her guests convinced on Come Dine With Me Huddersfield?

Serves 5

Ingredients

Mr Whippease ice cream mix in strawberry, toffee and vanilla flavours
200g milk chocolate, reserving some to grate over
12 fresh strawberries
5 meringues, crushed
1 Crunchie bar, chopped
1 can whipped cream
Mini marshmallows
5 chocolate flakes

Method

In a bowl make the ice cream flavours up according to packet instructions.
Pour into an ice cream maker and churn until frozen. Transfer to a freezer-proof container and freeze until needed.
Next carefully melt the chocolate in the microwave 10 seconds at a time. Dip half the strawberries into the chocolate and chill until firm. Slice the rest of the strawberries.
Build the sundae with the ice cream, sliced strawberries, meringue and Crunchie. Finish with cream, chocolate strawberries, grated chocolate, marshmallows and a flake.
