Lemon and lime cheesecake recipe

Darryl finished with a zingy lemon and lime cheesecake on Come Dine With Me Bristol

Serves 6-8


  • 225g digestive biscuits, crushed
  • 110g unsalted butter, melted
  • 400g full fat soft cheese
  • 115g golden caster sugar
  • Zest and juice 1 lemon
  • Zest and juice 2 limes, plus extra zest to decorate
  • 200ml double cream


  1. Combine the biscuits and melted butter and press firmly into a 25cm loose-bottomed cake tin. Chill until firm.

  2. Place the soft cheese, sugar, lemon and lime zest and juice in a bowl and mix well. In a separate bowl beat the cream until stiff then fold into the soft cheese mixture.

  3. Pour onto the base and even the top. Decorate with some extra lime zest and cover and chill for up to 24 hours.
