Jon Wicheard adds a little spice to his sweet vegetable soup on Come Dine With Me Bath
Melt the butter in a large saucepan, then add the parsnips, onion, potato, curry powder, turmeric and cumin. Stir well and cook on a low heat for approximately 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the stock, bring to the boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
Blend the soup until smooth then return to a clean saucepan, add the cream and gently heat through. Serve in warmed bowls with crusty bread.
