Rachael Keighley made her pie saucy with a good dollop of chicken soup on Come Dine With Me Bradford
Preheat the oven to 180°C/gas mark 4. Steam the carrots and potatoes for about 5 minutes until just cooked. Tip into a bowl and mix in the frozen peas, chicken and soup. Divide the mixture between 4 individual pie dishes.
In a bowl rub the flour and lard together until the mixture resembles breadcrumbs. Add a splash of water and bring together into a soft dough.
Roll into 4 round just bigger than your pie dishes, then place on top of the mixture. Trim the excess pastry from around the edge of the dishes.
Place in the oven and bake for 40 minutes until golden brown.
