Craig's starter was a simple combination of egg, spicy chorizo and fresh asparagus on Come Dine With Me Jersey
Steam the asparagus for 3-4 minutes until almost tender.
Heat the oil in a frying pan and carefully crack the eggs in one by one. Drop the chorizo into the whites and allow to cook through.
Add a little oil to a hot griddle and fry the asparagus until browned.
Divide the rocket between serving plates and sit the asparagus on top. Top with the egg and serve drizzled with balsamic glaze.
