Becki's mushrooms were cooked in a cream and garlic for a rich starter on Come Dine With Me Hartlepool
Melt the butter in a large frying pan and fry the shallots until soft. Add the mushrooms and garlic and continue to cook until soft and dry.
Add the wine and bubble for a minute, then add the cream and gently heat through. Season to taste with salt and pepper and serve warm with crusty bread.
