Sakura cocktail recipe

Toast the arrival of spring with a sweet cherry blossom cocktail

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 50ml cherry liqueur, or Cherry Marnier
  • 25ml sake
  • 10ml yuzu
  • 5ml egg white (fifth of the white from one medium-sized egg)
  • 2 tsp cherry juice
  • 1 cherry blossom flower, to garnish
  • 1 cherry, to garnish

Method

  1. Put the cherry marnier, sake, yuzu and egg white into a cocktail shaker. Shake and then strain into a martini glass.

  2. Top up with the cherry juice and garnish with a cherry blossom flower and cherry.
