Just a little variation on the old American favourite
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Setting time: 10 minutes
1. In a pot combine oil, onions, and brown sugar. Cook for 1 minute. Add the beans, barbecue sauce, ketchup, and molasses.
2. Cook on medium heat until mixture begins to boil. Turn heat to low, add the coriander. Stir in the salt and pepper to taste.
3. Cook on low for 30 minutes, covered. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
Tip: for a healthier version, omit brown sugar and molasses. Use 240g sugar-free ketchup in place of regular ketchup.
