Bacon wrapped cocktail sausages recipe

It's not Christmas without some pigs in blankets – make them Gordon's way from Gordon's Christmas Cookalong LIVE

Serves 8

Ingredients

  • 24 small chipolatas or cocktail sausages
  • 12 slices streaky bacon

Method

  1. Halve the bacon slices and wrap the bacon around the sausages. Place in an ovenproof roasting dish and brown on the hob for 2-3 minutes.

  2. Transfer to the oven and roast at 180°C/gas mark 4 for 25 – 30 minutes or until the sausages are cooked. Turn half way through cooking to get a nice even golden colour.
