Taste of London returned to Regent's Park over 16-19 June 2011 to demonstrate once again that it’s the world's greatest restaurant festival.
40 of the city's best restaurants dished up their most popular dishes in an unbeatable alfresco gourmet feast, while 200 producers provided a bounty of the best food and beverages.
Small plate dining was the order of the day: restaurants fashioned special menus of starter sized dishes for the occasion, including signature dishes created by chefs to reflect their expertise and showcase seasonal and premium ingredients. Taste of London favourites like Benares, Le Gavroche, Salt Yard and Club Gascon were joined by newcomers Four O Nine, Le Caprice, Corrigan's Mayfair, Petrus and more.
Festival goers watched country's culinary greats showed off their skills with a host of elite pan rattling demonstrations, and 2011 saw the launch of a new Secret Garden. Poised somewhere between Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and an exclusive members' club, it was a gourmet oasis hidden behind a maze and filled with a cornucopia of exclusive wines and exquisite treats.
