Price Range: £19,660 to £22,445

Verdict

Volkswagen succeeds in making a desirable coupe without compromises.

Volkswagen Scirocco Review

Comfort and Equipment4 out of 5

Equipment levels are high for the Scirocco. Sports seats, adaptive dampers, climate control and 18" alloys all come as standard with options limited to upsizing the alloys, adding a panoramic sunroof and including satnav and leather interior.

Boot space is about 60 litres smaller than an equivalent Golf and there's a large bootlip - annoying if you have heavy bags of shopping.

Volkswagen claims there's enough space in the back for the 'average' adult to sit behind a six-footer in the front, but access is tricky and once you're in expect plenty of head-rubbing with the roof lining.
