Sleek stylish looks, frameless doors, interior quality, refinement.
Only has four seats, low-slung lines compromise interior space.
This stylish attack on Audi and BMW cannot be ignored.

Ignore the range-topping 296bhp V6 petrol and the CC is as inexpensive to run as a regular Passat.
Cheapest to run for those who rack up the miles, will be the 138bhp 2.0-litre that sips fuel at just 48.7mpg while emitting just 158g/km slipping into VED band D.
Next up will be the higher power 168bhp diesel, which is likely to be more thirsty. The petrol 1.8 TSI, meanwhile, puts up a good fight against the diesels. Not only is it almost as quick as the powerful larger-capacity diesel, it still returns a reasonable 37.2mpg while emitting 180g/km of carbon dioxide (Band E VED).
Performance fans, meanwhile, will have to contend with the 3.6-litre's thirst for fuel and its substantial carbon dioxide emissions of 246g/km of CO2. It means owners of the all-wheel-drive coupe will soon have to pay £25 in London's congestion charging zone and pay the fairly sizeable tax burden of VED Band G.
